On October 13, 2013 I received a special email from a friend of mine, Mariona. By that time I was traveling solo in Thailand and Cambodia in a backpack trip that lasted 33 days. I do remember very well the moment when I first read the poem and I keep it as starred in my inbox. I like to recover this lecture by time to time. I hope you like it. That’s a kind of “manifesto” that we all should keep present every single day. At least, I do.
Love is the new black.
The time is now and the power is you.
Trust your instincts.
How you invest your love is how you invest your life.
Believe in the power of a smile.
Your attitude is your life.
Go so far away that you stop being afraid of not coming back.
Know your limits and move beyond them.
Claim your strength.
Listen more. Speak less.
Risk more. Hesitate less.
Be mindful of when you say “always” and “never.”
Find silence.
Light candles.
Go outside.
Ground your thoughts – keep a journal.
Your life revolves around your meditation. Watch what you think.
Energy flows where attention goes.
Go on a complaint cleanse. Permanently.
Seek to speak the truth.
Inquire with an open heart and mind.
Judge less. Understand more.
Assume nothing.
Postpone criticism.
Wonder why?
Ask for it.
Say no.
Say yes.
Question the world. Write your own answers.
Have an honest agenda.
Nourish.
Rejoice in possibility.
Be a conduit for the miraculous.
Say what you mean and mean what you say.
Decide NOW.
Tell the truth to power.
Love everyone. Trust a few.
Realise how blessed you are.
Create freedom for the fantastic!
Live your yoga.
Stay connected. No. Matter. What.
Share.
Give back.
Be happy.
Forgive quickly.
Kiss slowly.
Love truly.
Laugh uncontrollably.
Play your heart out one moment at a time.
… and never, ever forget who you truly are.
Unknown.
If you like it, share it with someone else.
